In event and hospitality staffing, you must work with a broad range of clients! What particularly excites you about hotels?
Hotels are all so different! As a Senior Account Manager, I get to visit some amazing hotels in London and learn about the specific needs of each unique venue.
Every hotel has a unique atmosphere, scent and history which makes each one so special and always a pleasure to work with.
Whether the hotel needs extra support with waiters & waitresses in their restaurants, hosts & hostesses on the front doors or fabulous cocktail barmen; I am on hand to help out!
Who is your longest standing hotel client?
The lovely London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square. This was my first ever client when I started at TempTribe 5 years ago (I was so nervous!) and still my client today! We work in the lobby, so pop by and say hi!
What is the coolest event you have worked on for a hotel?
BRITS AFTER PARTY! This was for The Ned the first year they opened (2017). The variety of hotel events is truly amazing. From star-studded events like the Brits to stunning weddings, there really is no end to the number of incredible events hosted at hotels. I help by providing personal account management, unique to every hotel’s needs.
As a temporary staff member, what is the key to success for working in a hotel?
A pro-active attitude is key! Hotel managers are very busy people & need your help to ensure each and every event runs smoothly. They are all very passionate about what they do, so make sure you reflect that in your work ethic.

Be early and ready to work. Hotels pride themselves in immaculate presentation and the service they provide. In a 5* industry, always make sure you put your best put forward.
What advice would you give to a temporary staff member looking to get more work with TempTribe’s Hotel clients?
Find one that suits you – they are all so unique! Hotels want a consistent and hardworking team. They love to see familiar faces & people who care about where they work. Hotels have available shifts all year round so you can really gain confidence in the hospitality industry and develop your skills!

Of all the hotels I have worked with over the years, there is one that has the view to beat them all. The Shangri-La Hotel at The Shard has some of the most stunning views of London. If you haven’t been yet, I cannot recommend it enough!
