- What is your role at TempTribe?
I am the Product Owner and I look after our web platform and mobile app development. I also look after IT in the office and make sure that everything runs smoothly in that area.
- How long have you been at TempTribe?
I have worked in the TempTribe HQ for over 3 years. I started in the recruitment team, then moved to brand management for our sister brands Don Cotton – the hospitality uniform supplier and Picture President – photographer agency, before moving to the marketing assistant role. We soon realised that our web platform needed a re-haul – this is when i joined the development department and have been improving our tech for the past year.
- How did you start at TempTribe?
I first joined TempTribe in May 2012 as an on site temp to get some work whilst I was at university. I did over 150+ shifts whilst working on site. As I am not from London, I enjoyed discovering new places and meeting people whilst working. Having been on both sides of the business – head office and on site really helps me relate to our staff better, be more empathetic to their problems and have a true desire to make meaningful improvements to their lives where I can. I know the struggle can be real!
